Ahh, sorry, I forgot to mention the distro.<br>

I'm using CentOS 7.<br>
<br>
there's no /bin/sendmail, but a /usr/sbin/sendmail<br>
<br>
both the postfix and sendmail packages have /usr/sbin/sendmail but
each have /usr/sbin/sendmail.(postfix|sendmail) respectively<br>

<p>I hear you. What's your distro and what's setup for things
like /bin/sendmail? My guess is sendmail is your MTA with both
installed so MM is correctly identifying things.<br>
