You can mostly ignore that.  It's only used to set the SMTP interface
IP address in the theoretically-impossible case that the SMTP server
does not pass the if_addr macro to the milter.  We do need to have
*some* sort of sensible IP address there, so if we aren't given one
over milter, we use whatever the host's FQDN resolves to.
